Teaching, Coaching, & Consulting

I own a small company, Summit Consulting Services, which operates under several brands:

-Summit Career Coaching

-Summit English Language Education

-Summit Technical Specialists

I’m responsible for all business development & delivery of most services. I also design/create all marketing & web presence for each. Spawned out of a desire to help fund future mountain climbing/hiking adventures while helping people reach their potential, “Summit” seemed an apt name.

Summit Career Coaching is a personalized coaching initiative aimed at helping people achieve their career goals.

8+ years of experience in Recruitment Consulting and Management has given me unique insight into how many of the best companies find their talent, and what you can do to separate yourself from the competition.

Whether someone is looking to stand out in their field, position themselves to be recruited, or change careers entirely, I’m able to help them with personalized, PRACTICAL solutions that produce MEASURABLE results.

The skills I teach are useful for life and ensure you’ll stay ahead of the curve.

For those who don’t need comprehensive coaching, I offer simple ad hoc services related to job search optimization.

These include providing Resumés, Cover Letters, LinkedIn Optimization, Interview Preparation, “Getting Recruited,” and English Language/Public Speaking Improvement.

In addition to help in those areas, I’m happy to leverage my broad network to help any client make helpful connections for mentorship, cross-promotion, or doing business.

summit english language education (english lessons) is an english tutoring & improvement company focused on a consultative approach to teaching, utilizing the widely respected celta methodology (cambridge university). I and my teachers focus on students’ personal needs, interests, & goals when crafting a custom curriculum.

In 2016, after several trips overseas, I decided that I’d like to expand upon my Bachelors in English degree and get certified to teach “English as a Foreign Language.” I knew I could put this to use both in New York City or if I ever decided to work abroad while seeing more of the world.

Cambridge University offers a CELTA-Certification course with over 120 hours of training, including 30+ hours of classroom teaching to real students. I went on to privately tutor students in-person around New York City and Europe (via video). I’ve slowly expanded to include 3 other teachers with whom I place students better served by their style.

I’ve worked with several small business whose staff do not speak English as a first language, but who operate in customer-facing roles. These include enterprise tech/software consultancies, restaurants, and cafes. My twelve year sales/recruitment career prepared me well to teach Business English very effectively, especially for technology sectors.
