Me, & what makes me tick…

I’m proud of being deep, thoughtful, competitive & intelligent. A strong curiosity combined with a broad range of interests led me to explore diverse professional & personal projects. Being naturally competitive, I try to become strong in anything I’m working on— even if it’s just for fun.

What separates me from other engaged, competitive people is my depth of EQ, resilience, & genuine people skills. I enjoy & am effective at teaching people, even in groups that require vastly different communication styles. I truly enjoy helping people, especially consultatively. Without that, I wouldn’t have had success in my career & two small businesses. I’ve got a lot of experience in business development & account management, & it’s important to me people have a good experience working with me.

Luckily, I’m very comfortable in my own skin & enjoy interacting with all types of different people. I’m not shy at all, which helps when you need real results at networking events.

I’m not afraid to “look for the bad news” in any situation. It’s there— no use in pretending you can avoid it.

I love & excel at public speaking. I’ve given non-scripted presentations for crowds up to 1500. This, combined with 15 years of people telling me I “sound like I should be on radio/tv,” help ensure my presentations never turn into a snooze-fest. I’ve regularly had to pitch and negotiate with C-level/stakeholders.

I produce & broadcast live video podcasts for some of NYC’s most popular stand-up comedians.

I split time between the energy of NYC & the peacefulness of nature. I’m an avid hiker with lofty mountaineering goals that’ll hopefully culminate with summiting Cho Oyu, the sixth highest peak in the world. I plan to launch a mental-health awareness campaign focused around encouraging people to get moving in the outdoors to improve mental & physical health.

I’m taking private lessons on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & inDesign so I can continue to improve my marketing ability.

I’m money motivated, but not materialistic. I take the opportunity to travel when I can, sometimes alone. I want to experience a lot of activities/cultures, & each time I travel I feel it’s a great catalyst for growth. Learn more about my travel here.
